Anton Melchionda is a Founding Partner of Onyx and leads the overall strategic direction of the company. Previously, Mr. Melchionda was a Managing Partner of Waterstone Properties Group, a privately owned developer controlling more than 60 assets across 15 states totaling over 12 million square feet and $1 billion of value. Mr. Melchionda was responsible for all aspects of the Company’s operations, including acquisition, financing, development and redevelopment. He directly managed all new business and structured finance transactions for Waterstone’s portfolio. Prior to joining Waterstone, Mr. Melchionda founded SRA Capital Partners.
Aaron Hinchliffe is Partner and COO at Onyx. Previously, Mr. Hinchliffe served as the Chief Investment Officer at Waterstone Properties Group leading a team pursuing select industrial and retail acquisition opportunities. Prior to Waterstone, Mr. Hinchliffe was a Partner at Langwater Capital Partners pursuing various real estate investments in the New England area. Prior to Langwater, Mr. Hinchliffe was a Senior Associate on the acquisitions team at CrossHarbor Capital and prior to the acquisition role, Mr. Hinchliffe was responsible for supporting fundraising initiatives and asset management. Mr. Hinchliffe began his career at Cambridge Associates providing analysis of portfolio holdings, assistance with due diligence, and portfolio performance monitoring services to the following constituents: colleges and universities, foundations, non-profit entities, high net-worth families, endowed institutions, and pension funds. Mr. Hinchliffe received his BBA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts
Paul Connolly serves as Onyx Partners, Executive Vice President of Asset Management and has over 35 years’ experience in commercial, retail, and construction. Over the course of his career, he has played a role in all aspects in the development, leasing, and management of over 10 million SF of retail, office, and mixed-use development. He has held numerous positions including, Vice President of Asset Management, VP of Construction, Project Management, Property Management. Paul has worked for and with private as well as public real estate companies, which have included REITs as well as institutional RE Funds such as Federal Realty Investment Trust, Invesco RE and Fidelity Real Estate. He most recently served as Director of Asset and Property management for Crosspoint Associates.
Douglas Richardson is Executive Vice President of Development at Onyx with over thirty-five years of development experience having worked on projects totaling over 20MM SF. From his early days as a store designer for Stop & Shop Supermarkets at the height of that company’s aggressive growth period, through fifteen years as Vice President for The Flatley Company, Doug has been directly responsible for all aspects of the development process on a broad spectrum of initiatives, including residential, hotel, corporate office, industrial R&D, warehouse projects, as well as national retail. Doug’s core role during thirteen years at Waterstone Properties was directing the company’s multi state development efforts, with a special focus on site and building design, permitting, and critical path construction management. He also spearheaded the company’s commitment to sustainable design and construction. Recent projects in New Hampshire include ground up new construction, as well as redevelopment in the cities and towns of Rochester, Portsmouth, Epping, Seabrook, Newport, totaling in excess of two million square feet.
Christina Mayer serves as Chief Financial Officer for Onyx Partners and has over 15 years’ experience in accounting and finance. Prior to Onyx, Christina held various roles in the private equity industry including VP of Finance at Arctaris Impact Investors, Senior Accounting Manager at HarbourVest Partners and Deputy Controller at The Rohatyn Group (formerly GMO Renewable Resources). In her previous roles, Christina was responsible for investor reporting, cash management, annual audits and tax compliance for a variety of investment vehicles. In addition, Christina was a Manager at public accounting firm Samet & Company. Christina holds a BA in Business Administration from Saint Anselm College and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.
Brian Kaplan serves as Vice President for Onyx Partners and has over 10 years’ experience in various roles in the commercial real estate industry including all aspects of the development, construction, leasing and management of over 5 million SF of retail, and mixed-use development. Prior to joining Onyx, Brian held positions with The Wilder Companies, WS Development, and Waterstone Properties Group.
Rogers Boylan serves as Senior Financial Analyst for Onyx Partners and has over 6 years of commercial real estate experience spanning property management, investment sales, leasing, and debt & equity placement. Rogers works on the acquisition, disposition, and financing of Onyx’s ventures. Prior to joining Onyx, Rogers worked for Avison Young as an Analyst and prior to that worked for The Hamilton Company as a Property Manager. Rogers graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bentley University with a degree in economics-finance and was a member of the varsity football team.
William Lane serves as Senior Financial Analyst for Onyx Partners and is responsible for the underwriting of new acquisitions and developments. Prior to joining Onyx, William held positions with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts – most recently serving as a Financial Analyst. William holds a BS in Finance from Florida State University.
Joe Ford serves as an Assistant Asset Manager at Onyx Partners, where he manages the financial performance, property operations, and tenant relations within the company’s portfolio. Joe graduated Cum Laude from Merrimack College with a degree in business administration and was a five-year member of their varsity lacrosse program.
Brenda is the Office Manager/Executive Assistant at Onyx Partners. Brenda brings with her over 20 years’ experience in her field. Prior to joining Onyx, Brenda worked various industries including, accounting, finance, private equity and pharma. In her previous roles she has been responsible for assisting multiple managing partners, as well as managing day-to-day office functions.
